Trafalgar Out of School Care Society (TOOSCS) is a self-supporting, non-profit, parent-run organization incorporated on January 23rd, 1980.

We provide inclusive childcare for children ages 5 – 12 in our school-age program, as well as preschool children three to five years. It strives to support and nurture children’s growth and development, thus providing a valuable service to the community.

Our program is licensed by the Community Care Facility Act.  Our licensing numbers are as follows:

• Preschool: 3009485,  

• School-age: 3009210.

 

We are proud we meet all standards, including properly screened, trained and educated staff, correct staff-to-child ratios, suitable facilities and appropriate working equipment.

​

The regular centre hours are 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday excluding statutory holidays, although individual programs may have set times in which they operate.  The center offers programs during winter, spring and summer breaks for our school-age children.

Our Society was organized by parents and they continue to be a vital part of the organization.
