Trafalgar Out of School Care Society (TOOSCS) is a self-supporting, non-profit, parent-run organization incorporated on January 23rd, 1980.

We provide inclusive childcare for children ages 5 – 12 in our school-age program, as well as preschool children three to five years and occasional care for children 18 months to 48 months. It strives to support and nurture children’s growth and development, thus providing a valuable service to the community.

Our program is licensed by the Community Care Facility Act.  Our licensing numbers are as follows:

• occasional care: 3009766,

• preschool: 3009485,  

• school-age: 3009210.

 

We are proud we meet all standards, including properly screened, trained and educated staff, correct staff-to-child ratios, suitable facilities and appropriate working equipment.

The regular centre hours are 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday excluding statutory holidays, although individual programs may have set times in which they operate.  Our COVID-19 hours are 8:00am - 5:45pm.  The centre offers programs during winter, spring and summer breaks for our school-age children.

Our Society was organized by parents and they continue to be a vital part of the organization.
